Gunmen shoot Anambra Pastor in front of his ChurcH

Awka- UNKNOWN gunmen Thursday in the heart of Awka, shot the pastor of a new generation church, Pastor David Elijah Chidiebere in front of his Grace and Power Divine Prophetic Ministry Chuch along the state secretariat road in the Anambra State capital. The appeal court had annulled the February election of Melaye and ordered a fresh one which held on November 16, an exercise that was declared inconclusive while a supplementary poll fixed for November 30. A yet to be identified soldier reportedly stabbed a man to death at Owerri-Aba community, Ugwunagbo council area, Abia State. The crisis rocking Nigeria’s ruling party, APC, got worse on Wednesday as the director-general of the party’s governors’ forum called for the resignation of Adams Oshiomhole as the party’s chairman. Also on Wednesday in Benin City, some leaders of the APC in Edo State at a meeting attended by Governor Godwin Obaseki ratified the suspension of Mr Oshiomhole from the party in the state.
